The Dashwood Firehall building is located in Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island, BC. The Metal Building Group designed and engineered the structural steel for this post disaster building, with the design requirements adhering to strict guidelines. Conventional structural steel was used for the building framing with additional strength added to adhere to the code levels required for this type of building application. The building envelope including the exterior walls and roof are a complete insulated metal panel system to ensure longevity for this public building.
