This Building was built in Fort St. John as part of BC Hydro’s Site C Hydroelectric Dam Project located on the Peace River in northeastern BC. This 12,900 SF building had to meet the more stringent Post-Disaster design standards and used an open web truss design to better accommodate lighting and ducting requirements. The building envelope utilized Metlspan’s Insulated Metal Panels for the roof and walls in order to meet the client’s high insulating requirements. In addition, all the structural steel was galvanized per the client’s specifications.
