Big Silver Creek Powerhouse
Metal Building Group contributed to the Big Silver Creek Hydroelectric Project, a new run-of-river generating station designed to provide sustainable renewable energy. MBG supplied and installed the steel building system for the 28,447 sq. ft. powerhouse facility, which houses four Francis turbines and forms a key component of the hydroelectric development. The project included complex infrastructure such as a water intake, diversion channel, spillway, tunnel, and penstock, all working together to generate clean energy from the natural flow of the river.
